This horizontal view of the slider is great for figuring out TAB. Also a side frame view of scales, arpegiation patterns and fingerings. Above is an example in the key of "C". When the transparency overlay is moved so the letter "C" appears in the Diamond Shaped Box the intervalometer is aligned to the Key of "C".Now the intervalometer displays both the alphabet spelling of the scale and its numeric position in that scale. Please notice that the boxes colored BLUE are the "Blues notes" of the scale. 3 flat, 7 flat, and 5 fat or 4 sharp depending on your spelling needs.
Examples of Tab are on the next page. Print this before you go on.
